Be a part of the action – Volunteer!

The success of the Draft Test depends largely on the many people who put in a little extra time and effort to make it all happen.
There are many, many ways to help and it’s a great way to get to know your fellow Leo Lovers and Drafting enthusiasts.

  • Audio or visual distraction - 2 Stewards: Stewards sit or stand. Judges will instruct where and when to perform the distraction.
  • Load/Unload - 1-2 stewards: Steward greets the handler and gives a lightweight load. Another steward greets the handler, requests permission to pat the dog, pats the dog and then receives the load from the handler.
  • Distance Freight Haul - 2 or more Stewards: Stewards walk along with the teams and judges for approximately one-half mile. This is a standing, walking volunteer role.
  • Set-up and Tear-down Grounds Crew - all available.
For volunteer opportunities, please drop Jody Woodruff an email at pkw3355@aol.com
