Be a part of the Action – Volunteer!

The success of the Draft Test depends on the dedicated volunteers who contribute their time and effort to make the event run smoothly. Volunteering is a fantastic way to learn more about drafting, support the teams, and connect with fellow Leo lovers and drafting enthusiasts!

Ways You Can Help:

  • Audio or visual distraction - 2 Stewards:
    • Stewards will sit or stand as directed. Judges will instruct where and when to provide the distraction.
  • Load/Unload – 1-2 Stewards:
    • One steward greets the handler and provides a lightweight load.
    • Another steward greets the handler, requests permission to pat the dog, pats the dog, and then receives the load from the handler.
  • Distance Freight Haul - 2+ Stewards:
    • Stewards will walk alongside teams and judges for approximately half a mile. This is a standing/walking role.
  • Set-up & Tear-down – Grounds Crew:
    • All available hands are welcome to assist with setting up and packing up the event.
